Married Life Date Night planning is always fun.  Sometimes I already have an idea in mind or several ideas.  When we starting planning the next big event, there were several ideas on the table.  After discussing how awesome the marriage series for June was going to be, we decided a vow renewal would be the perfect date night!

I know that I planned the event, but seriously, I think it was amazing!  The weather was perfect (maybe a little hot at the ceremony :), the location was just gorgeous, the couples looked fabulous!  The night started at the pavilion by the lake.  The couples all had a chance to get a few photos taken.

Then we started the ceremony.  Each wife was given a pretty little bouquet, and the couples walked arm and arm into the pavilion while the chorus of “their song” was played.  Each couple stood together, as Barry lead a beautiful vow renewal ceremony.  I must say, it was such a touching event to be a part of!

After everyone said “I Do” again, we headed to the dinning hall.  Another breath taking place!  Nicole Walton and her awesome team had prepared a delicious dinner for us.  Curious about the menu??

The night continued on with dessert.  Chocolate covered strawberries and cupcakes.  The couples had a chance to feed each other some cake too!

Our crazy DJ, kept the night fun and the couples enjoyed showing off their dance moves.

You could find the couples enjoying the perfect evening temps outside on the deck.

Our super fun camera phone photo booth proved to be a hit as well.

And what night is not complete without a few funny photos.  Notice our Pastor, photo bombing a sweet couples cupcake feeding photo.  Don’t worry, he is in ALL of their photos!

The night was wonderful!  It was full of love, friendship, eating, dancing, and fun!  I am blessed to be leading this ministry and to see so many couples taking a stand for marriage!  You guys are awesome!  Our next BIG date night will be a good one!  Be watching for details this fall!

{if you attended the ceremony and would like copies of all the photos- do not worry, I am working on all of them and when they are all finished I will be emailing the instructions to get them all!}
